Biological activity and latent fingerprints detection by azo quinoline dye and its complexes

چکیده

Azo dye of quinoline named 5-(3-pyridylazo)-8-hydroxyquinoline (PAHQ) was prepared via coupling reaction diazonium salt 3-aminopyridine and 8-hydroxyquinoline. he PAHQ characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectroscopy 1H-NMR. The complexes were under 2:1 (L:M) mole ratio. infrared spectroscopy, UV-Vis, molar conductance, magnetic susceptibility. IR spectra data indicate that ligand is bidentate through deprotonated phenolic oxygen nitrogen atom azomethine quinoline. also to presence water in coordination state metals. its found have high biological activity against different organisms bacteria fungi. zinc complex exhibited toxicity MCF-7 with values between IC50 infection cells healthy cells.
